una vita. Da quando i giardini muovevano i primi passi. Si può
dire che sia stato lui uno dei primi, se non il primo ad intuire
il potenziale del gruppo. Grazie a lui suonammo insieme ai Karate,
nel lontano 199-qualcosa. Ci seguì in un viaggio in Germania e
molte volte fu al nostro fianco. Poi le strade si divisero. per
diversi motivi, che non so neanche spiegare bene . So di certo che
da qualche anno ha preso in mano la chitarra anche lui, facendo il
salto del fossato. La sua è acustica e la suona
in un modo molto caratteristico. Pizzica le corde
timidamente e batte deciso i piedi sul pavimento. E se il limite
degli inizi era quello di essere troppo calligrafico nei confronti
di certi modelli alternative folk americano; oggi siamo davanti ad
un artista di grande spessore, lirico e finemente poetico. Abile
nel destreggiarsi tra composizioni proprie, pezzi di Leonard Cohen,
Belle and Sebastian e Fabrizio De Andrè risultando, alle mie
orecchie, credibile ed emozionante..."

long time. Since the early days, when "Giardini..."
were at their first steps. For sure he was one of the first, maybe
the very first who understood the band's potentiality. Thanks
to him we shared a show with Karate in the late 199something. He
joined us on a tour in Germany and many other times he was by our side.
Then we parted ways because of many reasons i can't rather explain
exactly. I know for sure he grabbed the guitar too jumping to the
other side of the river some years ago. His own one is acoustic
and he plays it in a very typical way. He picks the strings shyly
and hits the ground with his feet. In the beginning, being an
overelaborated composer leading to alt-folk american models was
his big limit; today
we stand in front of an highly inspired artist, lyrical and softly
poetical. He can move skillfully and comfortably between his own
tunes and Leonnard Cohen's, Belle and Sebastian's, Fabrizio De
Andrè's resulting believable and emotional to my ears..."
